As a wedding photographer, I was thrilled to be a part of Joey and Madison’s special day for this couple who flew all the way from a small town in Northern Ontario to have their wedding in the stunning Squamish, British Columbia. It was a privilege to capture their love story and to be able to showcase the beauty of this area in their photos.
We started the day at the Howe Sound Inn & Brewing where the bride, groom and bridal party got ready. It was the perfect spot to capture some fun and candid moments of them getting ready for the big day.
For their first look photos, we headed to the iconic Porteau Cove, which was absolutely breathtaking with its vibrant blue water and stunning mountain backdrop. It was the perfect setting to capture the couple's genuine and heartfelt emotions as they saw each other for the first time.
The ceremony was held at the top of the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish, which provided a truly magnificent backdrop with its stunning views overlooking the Howe Sound. It was an intimate and heartfelt ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends.
The reception was held in the same location, and it was an unforgettable celebration with great food, drinks and lots of laughter. The couple and their guests danced the night away with the stunning panoramic views of the mountains and the sea in the background.
One of the advantages of booking this venue on a weekday is that we had the park to ourselves for photos once all of the tourists went down for the day.
