As a wedding photographer, I've seen a lot of amazing weddings but Alex and Niki's wedding at Sunwolf Lodge in Squamish was definitely one for the books! From start to finish, it was a wedding that perfectly captured the couple's adventurous and fun-loving spirit.
First off, let me just say that Sunwolf Lodge in Squamish is one of the most stunning venues I've ever worked at. Located just an hour drive from Vancouver, it's nestled in a beautiful forest next to a picturesque river. It was the perfect backdrop for Alex and Niki's wedding photos, which we took all around the venue.
One thing I loved about this wedding was that the couple and their friends are super outdoorsy. Some people rented accommodation at the lodge, while others set up tents. It was like a mini camping trip, with a wedding thrown in for good measure!
But let's talk about the wedding itself. Alex and Niki looked absolutely stunning, with Alex in a sharp suit and Niki in a gorgeous gown that flowed in the wind. Their ceremony was sweet and heartfelt, and you could just feel the love between them.
After the ceremony, we took some photos of the couple around the venue. The forest and river made for the perfect romantic backdrop, and we were able to take advantage of the natural beauty of the venue to create some truly stunning photos.
And then it was time to party! The reception was held at the lodge, and everyone danced the night away. There were heartfelt speeches, a delicious meal, and of course, plenty of fun and laughter. And to cap off the night, there was a campfire with marshmallows. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
All in all, Alex and Niki's wedding was a dream to photograph. It perfectly captured their love for each other, their love for the outdoors, and their love for having a good time. I feel so honored to have been a part of their special day, and I can't wait to see what adventures they'll have next!
