For these post-wedding portraits we decided to hike down to the base of Brandywine Falls in Whistler, a 1.5 hour drive from Vancouver. Since Luana and Fred were super adventurous and had already been wanting to hike to the base of the falls, it was the perfect location! The unmaintained trail down to the giant waterfall isn’t easy but if you have hiking and scrambling experience, then it’s one of the most rewarding sights in South Western British Columbia. If this location interests you, be prepared for lots of mist from the roaring falls and chilly conditions but also extremely unique photos!
After shooting some wedding photos at the base of Brandywine falls, we drove over to one of Luana and Fred’s favorite lakes to go paddle boarding and swimming.
